Tim Conway, who discovered notoriety on “The Tune Burnett Show,” is dead at 85.
Conway passed on at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday in Los Angeles “after a long sickness,” his rep Howard Bragman told HuffPost.
According to the People, the entertainer experienced typical weight hydrocephalus (NPH) in a matter of seconds before he died.
Conway is best known for his time on “The Song Burnett Show,” where he frequently made his associates Harvey Korman and Burnett break character.
Some of his most renowned characters included Dorf, who did how-to recordings like “Dorf on Golf,” and a dental specialist who unintentionally infuses novocaine into himself while endeavoring to chip away at his patient (played by Korman).
In expansion to his work on “The Tune Burnett Show,” Conway is associated with his job on the Television program “McHale’s Naval force” and as the voice of the character Barnacle Kid on “Spongebob Squarepants.”
