“Saturday Night Live” have Daniel Craig and Kate McKinnon messed around with keeping up “social separation” and splashing sterile in a sketch about drama love in the coronavirus era.
The bit from parody “Sands of Modesto” starts with a message from makers notice that “the organizing of specific scenes has been modified for the on-screen characters’ wellbeing” from the infection.
The couple troopers on in their sentimental scenes. Craig touches her with a phony arm from a few feet away, he and McKinnon kiss through Plexiglas, and they are going to have intercourse through cling wrap — when Craig’s previous spouse (Cecily Solid) turns up. The scene implodes when Solid sniffles, and the on-screen characters head for the entryway.
In a different hit at coronavirus fears, Rachel Dratch is back in another sketch as her old character Debbie Killjoy. This time, she appears at a wedding gathering in a gas veil.
It goes downhill from that point.
