ATLANTA (AP) — Previous U.S. President Jimmy Carter broke his hip Monday at his Georgia home, experienced fruitful medical procedure and was recuperating serenely, a representative for the Carter Center said.
Carter was en route to go turkey chasing, the representative, Deanna Congileo, said in an announcement. She said that he was treated in Americus, Georgia, close to his home in Fields, and that his significant other, Rosalynn, was with him.
In the announcement, Congileo stated: “President Carter said his primary concern is that turkey season closes this week, and he has not achieved his breaking point. He trusts the Province of Georgia will enable him to rollover as far as possible to next year.”
Carter, 94, uncovered in 2015 that disease that had been found on his liver and had likewise been found on his cerebrum. He got treatment for seven months until outputs hinted at no the disease.
