The leader of ABC Stimulation said Constance Wu will stay on the new period of “New Off the Vessel,” even after the on-screen character had a Twitter emergency in light of the sitcom’s renewal.
Wu, who tweeted on Friday that she was “so upset right since I’m truly crying,” alongside a few different tweets that appeared to express disillusionment over the recharging of the satire, will keep on playing Jessica Huang in the new season, Karey Burke, leader of ABC Stimulation, told journalists on Tuesday.
“There’s been no idea to recasting Constance. We adore what she does on the show and we cherish the show,” Burke said at the Disney 2019 Forthright Experience, a promotion centered assembling highlighting ESPN, ABC, and National Geographic, among other television brands.
“We never truly considered not bringing back ‘New Off the Pontoon,'” Burke included. “The show’s simply unreasonably solid for us and we cherish it.”
