A furious James Comey tweeted Friday to lash Lawyer General William Barr for “smearing” his own department.
The previous FBI executive was alluding to Barr’s scrutinizing the Equity Division and the FBI for propelling an examination concerning Russian obstruction in the presidential race and conceivable plot by Donald Trump’s campaign.
Comey instructed him to set up or shut up:
“If there are terrible actualities, show us, or scan for them expertly and after that reveal to us what you discovered,” he composed. “An AG must act like the pioneer of the Division of Equity, an association dependent on truth.”
In an additional burrow, Comey stated: “Donald Trump has enough spokespeople.”
