BOSTON (AP) — Big name cook Mario Batali is dealing with criminal indictments on claims that he coercively kissed and grabbed a lady at a Boston café in 2017.
The Suffolk Area Lead prosecutor’s Office says Batali is planned to be summoned Friday on a charge of revolting strike and battery.
The Boston Globe reports that a criminal grievance recorded a month ago says the lady advised police that Batali welcomed her to take a selfie with him and afterward snatched her chest, kissed her face and contacted her crotch without her consent.
The subtleties in the objection reflect those in a common claim documented against Batali in August. The claim looks for unspecified harms for “serious enthusiastic pain” including nervousness and self-doubt.
An lawyer for Batali told the Globe that the gourmet specialist denies the charges. His legal advisor didn’t promptly react to an email from The Related Press.
