CNN’s Anderson Cooper was shocked by remarks that Lara Trump, girl in-law of President Donald Trump and a consultant to his 2020 re-appointment crusade, made on Thursday.
She called German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s migration strategies “one of the most exceedingly awful things that at any point happened to Germany,” and said they had prompted the “destruction” of the country.
“Number one, Germany hasn’t fallen,” Cooper said. “I’ve been there on an excursion, it’s doing just fine.”
As for being one of the “most exceedingly terrible things,” Cooper said:
Look, on the off chance that you don’t have the foggiest idea what the destruction of Germany truly was, this is what you do: You ask a fifth grader! Possibly a fourth grader, a truly savvy third grader, or anyone should who knows anything about World War II or the Nazis.
But Cooper wasn’t excessively amazed by Trump’s remarks, given that she has a “pretend broadcast on YouTube” called the “Genuine News Update.”
“That’s entirely YouTube,” he said. “That really exists. That is real.”
He even played a clip:
